malte. – the versatile posterior walking aid.

This versatile posterior walking aid supports children from early ages as they take their first steps. It is designed for active use in everyday life and provides reliable support wherever they go.

When the child leans on the handles, part of their body weight is supported, which makes walking noticeably easier and provides a sense of security. The special abducted frame design promotes controlled leg movement and helps to reduce side-to-side swaying whilst walking.

An integrated backwards stop prevents the walker from rolling away unintentionally where needed. The optional pelvic and buttock support promotes an upright posture and encourages a straight, physiological gait. This provides targeted support for independent walking and helps to continuously improve it.

Guide

In our guide and FAQ section, you’ll find helpful tips, answers to frequently asked questions and all the key information about our product. Clear, concise and easy to understand – so you’re always well informed.

The walker supports standing and walking by distributing body weight via the handles, thereby providing greater stability. The special shape of the frame reduces outward swaying and promotes an upright, straight gait. Optionally, direction locks can make it easier to move in a straight line, and a backwards stop can prevent the walker from rolling backwards unintentionally.

The malte is available in five different sizes. Each size is tailored to different body heights and needs, ensuring that posture, handles and frame dimensions are individually suited to the child. The choice of the appropriate size depends on the handle height and, where applicable, seat height, the child’s stage of development and the intended use. The different sizes can be found in the catalogue and pricelist.

Unfortunately, the malte cannot be converted into a malte outdoor at a later date.

The malte model is designed for indoor use, whilst the outdoor version can be used both indoors and outdoors. For this purpose, larger tyres with drum brakes, including a parking brake, are fitted.

The malte, in sizes 1–4, can be folded and is therefore easy to transport. The transport dimensions can be found in the catalogue and pricelist.

"The walking aid is really versatile."

The design of the posterior walker is extremely well thought out. The special, abducted frame shape prevents children from swaying outwards whilst walking, and the pelvic support pad ensures an upright and straight walk. Ideal for active use in everyday life!
