madita is a therapy chair that grows with the child, specifically designed for children and adolescents with disabilities. It promotes a stable, ergonomic sitting posture and can be adjusted via seat tilt, height adjustment and with tailored accessories. In this way, madita promotes safety, comfort and inclusion in everyday life, therapy, nursery and school.

madita is available in four sizes and accompanies children from toddler age right through to adolescence. Thanks to its adjustable design, the seating aid adapts to individual needs at all times and remains a reliable everyday companion for many years to come.

The seat can be tilted continuously using an easy-to-operate lever, right down to a relaxed reclined position. In addition, the height adjustment allows flexible adaptation to different table heights, ensuring the child is always right at the heart of the action.

For active sitting, the backrest can be quickly removed if required. This specifically activates the back and trunk muscles and promotes a healthy, upright sitting posture.

madita-fun has a base that can be lowered right to the floor, enabling more active sitting and playing. Ideal for children who want to be at eye level or act independently. madita, on the other hand, is designed more for a stable, upright position.

The madita is designed to be both robust and user-friendly. Thanks to its smooth-running castors and an intuitive adjustment system, it can be moved around easily, adapted to different rooms or transported without any difficulty.

Yes, madita is versatile. It is suitable for use in schools, nurseries, therapy centres and at home. Its adjustment options and sturdy construction ensure it can be used safely in a variety of everyday situations.

There is a wide range of accessories available for madita. You can find the available accessory options in the pricelist. This allows the chair to be tailored perfectly to the individual needs of children and adolescents.

The central parking brake rollers can be removed very easily using a 19mm open-ended spanner.

Some accessories are also compatible with older models, but not all of them. If you have a specific enquiry, please feel free to contact customerservice@schuchmann.de.

The therapy chair is suitable for children in GMFCS levels III–V.
