tina is a modular cradle system for children and young people with complex positioning needs. It enables pressure-free reclining, safe sitting and flexible changes of position. The electrically adjustable lying surface, seat, backrest and knee angles, together with the vacuum mattress, support comfort, care and mobility in everyday life.

tina is a modular cradle system that offers maximum support in everyday life. The vacuum mattress with an electric pump ensures even pressure distribution and allows for pain-free, relaxed reclining.

Thanks to the electric height adjustment of the reclining surface and the individually adjustable seat, backrest and knee angles, tina adapts flexibly to different positions. This also allows for an upright sitting position, enabling the user to actively participate in activities.

The smooth-running, swivelling wheels make tina particularly manoeuvrable and easy to push. This makes the system ideal for walks and enables the user to remain mobile and involved at all times.

  • A height- and length-adjustable push bar ensures easy handling.
  • A vacuum mattress, with an electric pump as an option, ensures a comfortable and pressure-free lying position.
  • 16-inch PU rear wheels with drum brakes and 8-inch PU steering wheels ensure safe use both indoors and outdoors.
  • The seat, which is adjustable in depth by 15 cm, offers flexibility for a variety of applications.
  • Features universal mounting points for reclining shells of all types or for attachments.

Modular cradle system tina for use in cars

Thanks to our fastening eyelets for transporting the base frame, tina is now perfect for use in the car! Approved according to DIN EN 7176-19 with use in 50° upright position of the head section with lap and shoulder belt or three-point belt of the vehicle.

tina is fitted with a rechargeable battery and can also be powered by an external power source. The height, seat angle, backrest angle, knee angle and seat tilt are all adjusted electrically using a hand-held control with a lock function. 

To prevent the electric motors from being activated accidentally and to prevent operation by unauthorised persons, the hand-held control unit is fitted with a safety feature in the form of a locking function.

In normal operation, the functions/buttons on the hand-held control unit are locked. This is indicated visually by the lock symbols lighting up orange when a button is pressed. 

To unlock the handheld control unit and thus enable operation of the electric actuators, the operator must press and hold the buttons (row 1, left) and (row 5, right) simultaneously for 3 seconds. Once the 3 seconds have elapsed, an audible signal (‘beep’) sounds and the orange LEDs behind the padlock symbols go out. The electric adjustment drives can now be operated by pressing the buttons.

To do this, push the brake lever on the push bar forwards until it clicks audibly into place. The brake is now engaged. To release the parking brake, pull the release lever. The brake lever will return to its neutral position and the drum brake will be released. Do not pull the brake lever towards you to release the parking brake, as this may damage the brake. The parking brake must always be released using the release lever.
