Like its sister model, the malte, the posterior walking aid for outdoor use actively supports users in covering longer distances, whilst offering a high degree of stability and safety. It is designed for dynamic use and provides reliable support on extended walks.

Thanks to its outdoor features, the walking aid is particularly well-suited for use in the open air. The large wheels ensure a smooth and safe ride on a variety of surfaces, making it the ideal companion for walks in the countryside.

For added safety, the model is fitted with a drum brake and a parking brake. This ensures you remain in control at all times, even on uneven terrain.

Guide

In our guide and FAQ section, you’ll find helpful tips, answers to frequently asked questions and all the key information about our product. Clear, concise and easy to understand – so you’re always well informed.

A posterior walking aid is a walking aid in which the frame is positioned behind the user – in contrast to a traditional rollator or walking frame, which is positioned in front of the body.

The user therefore stands in front of the walking aid and pulls it behind them whilst walking. This design is frequently used for children with motor impairments, but also for some adults undergoing rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, the malte cannot be converted into a malte outdoor at a later date.

The malte model is designed for indoor use, whilst the outdoor version can be used both indoors and outdoors. To this end, it is fitted with larger tyres and drum brakes, including a parking brake.
