momo motion is a battery powered tricycle that makes it easier for children and young people with disabilities to cover longer distances or tackle more challenging routes. The assistance promotes active mobility without compromising the therapeutic benefits of movement, and provides greater range in everyday life.

This tricycle with powerful assistance provides targeted support whenever the rider’s own strength is not enough. Whether for short everyday journeys or longer trips into town or the countryside, the drive ensures relaxed and safe mobility.

The silent direct drive enables a smooth riding experience without any distracting background noise. An optional hill-start assist helps to get going and makes setting off easier, particularly in challenging situations.

Various drive options are available to suit different levels of experience. Alongside a more powerful version for experienced riders, the beginner model offers a choice between Eco, Standard and Power modes via the display, allowing the user to customise the level of assistance.

Optimised geometry ensures easy transfer, a comfortable seating position and excellent manoeuvrability.
The drive is available with or without start-up assistance and can be selected as either a beginner’s or advanced version.
High-quality chain guidance and the silent DirectPower E-drive from Heinzmann ensure smooth and quiet operation.
The low access level, fitted as standard, makes it easier to get on comfortably and independently.
A range of saddle shapes and sizes, as well as a variety of handlebar options, ensure optimal support.
Additional support to help the rider sit upright increases stability whilst riding.

momo motion: Setting the limit switches

The following steps refer to the adjustment/re-adjustment of the limit switch on the brake of the momo motion. A readjustment can be useful if the so-called energy recovery mode is triggered with little or no actuation of the brake lever and as a result the motor assistance stops or pedalling becomes difficult.

What advantages does the momo motion offer over the conventional momo tricycle?

The biggest difference lies in the momo motion’s electric drive assistance. This makes it considerably easier to get started, travel longer distances and tackle inclines. Children and young adults with limitations or disabilities can therefore remain active for longer and experience less physical strain without having to give up independent mobility. Compared with the conventional momo tricycle, the momo motion offers greater range, comfort and flexibility in everyday life where appropriate.

How long does the battery in the momo motion last?

The battery life of the momo motion depends on various factors, such as the assistance level, the terrain, riding style and the rider’s weight. As a rule, a single battery charge is sufficient for a distance of around 40 to 80 kilometres. This makes the momo motion well suited to both short journeys and longer trips.

Can I use the momo motion without the drive?

Yes, the momo motion can also be used without electric assistance. The drive can be switched off at any time, allowing the tricycle to be ridden like a traditional, purely mechanical model. This ensures that the momo motion remains versatile and adapts to the individual needs of its users.
