The smilla therapy chair is made of wood. Clean the wooden parts with a slightly damp cloth or similar. Always follow the cleaning product manufacturer’s instructions regarding the recommended concentration. Harsh household cleaners and abrasive substances are not suitable.
As wood is a natural material, it must not be left damp or wet for extended periods, as it may absorb water and change shape by swelling. Always use a well-wrung, damp cloth and test the cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.
Covers and fabric parts can be washed in the washing machine at 40°C using a standard detergent. They must not be tumble-dried. The latest care instructions can also be found in the instructions for use, which are available in our Media Centre.
The smilla therapy chair can be used regardless of age. The decisive factors are not the child’s age, but their body measurements and individual support needs. Thanks to its extensive adjustment options, the chair can be adapted to different body sizes and grows flexibly with the child.
For settings such as nurseries or schools, the smilla. is also available in a nursery version. This model features shorter side frames and is adapted to the spatial requirements of these environments.
