Guide

In our guide and FAQ section, you’ll find helpful tips, answers to frequently asked questions and all the key information about our product. Clear, concise and easy to understand – so you’re always well informed.

With the momo tricycle, you can choose between different drive options depending on the model. These range from a rigid sprocket to a 7-gear freewheel brake hub. As an electrically assisted version, we offer our momo motion, which can be particularly helpful on longer journeys or when pedalling power is limited. You can find an overview of all accessory options in the pricelist.

To determine which inch size is correct, the inside leg measurement is the relevant measurement rather than the height.

Yes, a test ride can be very useful. It helps you choose the right size, check whether the seat and pedal positions are suitable for your child, and gives you a feel for how the momo tricycle handles in practice. You can ask your supplier to arrange for a suitable product to be provided for trial.

The momo tricycle has been specially developed for children and young people with specific motor skills requirements. Compared to many conventional therapy bikes, it offers a particularly wide range of adjustment options, meaning the bike can be tailored to individual needs.

These include, amongst other things, various saddles, individually adjustable handlebar and pedal positions, as well as numerous therapeutic accessories. Thanks to its high stability and ergonomic design, the momo tricycle ensures a safe riding experience whilst promoting balance, coordination, muscle strength and a love of movement.

Another advantage is its modular design: the therapeutic tricycle can be adapted to changing physical conditions and used over a long period of time. This makes it suitable both for therapeutic purposes and for active participation in everyday life and leisure activities.

Many parents report that the momo tricycle gives their child greater independence, mobility and a love of physical activity. They particularly appreciate the ability to customise the tricycle to their child’s individual needs, for example through a range of saddles, pedals and drives.

Many families also report that riding independently boosts their child’s self-confidence and fosters a new love of movement.

Depending on the child’s individual abilities, additional features such as a push bar or electric assistance may be useful for covering longer distances more comfortably. A personalised consultation with a specialist retailer and a test ride will help you find the right equipment to suit your child’s needs.

"My momo tricycle accompanies me right from the beginning."

I got my first momo tricycle when I was still very little. Now I have one with 24-inch wheels, and my tricycle and I are still an unbeatable team.
