Our mobility aids for transport and when out and about help children and young people with disabilities to get about safely, comfortably and as independently as possible, and to take part in everyday life.

Adventure awaits – with our ergonomic transport aids for children and teenagers.

Annelie is looking forward to a trip to the playground. Safely and comfortably positioned in her marie integral rehabilitation car seat, she arrives relaxed and ready to enjoy everyday life with her family.

Mobility gives children and young people with disabilities greater independence, social participation and quality of life. Rehabilitation car seats, pushchairs and mobility bases help them travel safely to school, nursery or leisure activities.

Our rehabilitation transport solutions combine safety, comfort and ease of use. Individual adjustment options and suitable accessories stabilise the pelvis, trunk and head while allowing as much freedom of movement as possible. This enables each product to be adapted to the child’s individual physical needs.

We also offer suitable indoor and outdoor mobility bases for customised seating systems. Where additional adaptations are required, selected transport solutions can be modified to meet individual needs.

This depends on your child’s age, weight, muscle tone and mobility needs. In our Transport and Travelling category, we offer rehabilitation buggies, car seats and subframes that combine therapeutic support with practicality for everyday use. It’s best for the child to try out the aid for themselves. Many models are available as demonstration units from medical supply stores.

A rehab buggy is often a good option for younger children who are not yet able to propel themselves, or where there is a high level of care required. A wheelchair offers greater independence for active children or young people.

Our marie integral and charlie integral car seats have been tested and certified in accordance with the current ECE R129/03 and ECE R129/04 standards respectively. They therefore meet the latest safety standards for children’s and young people’s car seats in the rehabilitation sector.

The abbreviation i-Size refers to the latest approval standard for child car seats. Approval standards for child car seats set out the safety standards and technical requirements that child car seats must meet in order to be approved for the European market. The i-Size standard forms part of the latest test standard, ECE R129, or officially: ‘EU Safety Regulation for Child Restraint Systems – UN/ECE Regulation 129’.

i-Size – in a nutshell

  • Mandatory rear-facing use up to 15 months
  • New, higher safety standards, e.g. side-impact protection
  • Classification of child seat categories by height, not by weight
  • Always with ISOFIX
  • Unrestricted approval for all vehicle seats bearing the ‘i-Size’ mark: for all other vehicles, approval is subject to the type list
